Power metal band NORTHTALE are releasing their new studio album “Eternal Flame” on November 12th on the renowned label Nuclear Blast Records. Produced by Dennis Ward (PINK CREAM 69, UNISONIC), the album brings 12 new tracks and a range of new influences, from thrash metal, classic quotes, traditional Brazilian music and elements fused in the characteristic melodic power metal of NORTHTALE.
To celebrate the occasion, the band also releases a lyric video for the single “Future Calls”, which is now available on all music platforms.

Guitarist Bill Hudson comments: “I can’t believe I’m saying this, but it’s finally time for Eternal Flame! It took two years of hard work, training changes and a global pandemic, but we did it! This baby is now available and I can’t wait for you all to hear the best version of our work. To celebrate, we chose ‘Future Calls’ as the new single! There is a very special reason for this: Kai Hansen is one of my childhood heroes and a few years ago we had the chance to become friends. It made perfect sense to me to have him guest on the album, and when he suggested that his son Tim Kanoa Hansen come too, I thought he’d love to organize a family reunion! I hope fans enjoy this album as much as we do!”.

The Eternal Flame album features guest appearances by legendary metal icon Kai Hansen (HELLOWEEN/GAMMA RAY) and son Tim Kanoa Hansen (INDUCTION), Jonas Heidgert (DRAGONLAND) and Mary Zimmer (HELION PRIME). The album cover was developed by artist Gustavo Sazes (MACHINE HEAD, AMARANTHE, KAMELOT)
NORTHTALE is an international power metal quintet formed in 2017 by guitarist Bill Hudson (DORO, TSO, ex-U.D.O), who was initially writing songs for a solo album. Drummer Patrick Johansson (ex-Yngwie Malmsteen/WASP), keyboardist Jimmy Pitts, bassist Mikael Planefeldt and original vocalist Christian Eriksson (ex-TWILIGHT FORCE) teamed up at the demo stage when the decision to make the project into a full-time band.
The debut album “Welcome To Paradise” was released in August 2019, by Nuclear Blast, with excellent reception around the world and great reviews in the international specialized media.
In the summer of 2020 the band chose their new singer, Guilherme Hirose, after a worldwide search that included 40 candidates from 11 different countries.
